How StreamTeam works
StreamTeam lets a group of streamers share one page where viewers can see who is live, across Twitch, YouTube, Kick, wherever each of you streams. You do not have to stream through Sleipnir to be on it. If you broadcast straight to Twitch or Kick, from a console, a phone, or any setup, you can still appear live on your team.
Creating a team
- Create a team. Go to the StreamTeam page and create a team. Pick a name, which becomes your team's link, like
sleipnir.tv/team/yourname. - Set it up. Add a team banner and a short bio so your page looks like yours. This is what viewers see on your public team board.
- Invite your streamers. Share your team's invite link with the streamers you want on your team. You will find it on your team page: click Show, then Copy. It is a
sleipnir.tv/join/...link, which is different from your public board link.
Team size depends on your plan: free teams hold up to 2 members, paid plans hold up to 8.
Joining a team and appearing live
This works whether or not you use Sleipnir to stream. If you stream from a console, a phone, or straight to Twitch or Kick, you can still appear.
- Open the invite link and join. Open the invite link someone shared with you, a
sleipnir.tv/join/...link. If you are not signed in yet, sign in or create a free account first, then click join. This is the invite link, not the public team board link. - Connect your platform. On the team page, click Connect Twitch or Connect Kick. This links your channel so Sleipnir knows when you go live. It is free, on every plan, and it does not require streaming through Sleipnir. Connecting only lets Sleipnir see when your channel is live, nothing else.
- Stream the way you normally do. From your console, your phone, OBS, whatever you already use, straight to your platform. Nothing about your setup changes.
- You appear automatically. Within about a minute of going live, your tile on the team board switches to LIVE, and your team and viewers can find you. When you stop, it goes back to offline.
A note on the relay
Streaming to several platforms at once through Sleipnir (the multistream relay) is a separate, optional feature for people using OBS or similar. StreamTeam presence works on its own, no matter what you stream with. A console streamer who cannot use the relay can still be a full part of a team.
